It feels like Nicole Kidman has a new project coming out roughly every three weeks or so. Every time we turn around, there’s some other Nicole-starring streaming limited series we never heard of, just dropping out of the sky. The hardest-working lady in show business put on yet another gown to promote yet another show and tasked her hubs with stepping up his game.

You may be shocked to discover that we don’t actually mind this dress. Sure, it’s as beige as beige gets. Yes, it violates our rule about wearing colors too close to one’s own skin tone. We would have definitely recommended a version in midnight blue or red for her rather than this shade. Despite all that, we think it mostly works for her. The design is elegant and it really suits her. She just needed a contrasting colored pump and a big, colorful pendant to finish off the look. He looks fine, but those shoes are comical and he should be embarrassed to wear them in public. It’s okay to have a tall wife, Keith.

ABOUT THE TV SERIES:
Set against the vibrant and tumultuous tapestry of 2014 Hong Kong, Expats centers on three American women—Margaret (Nicole Kidman), Hilary (Sarayu Blue), and Mercy (Ji-young Yoo)—whose lives intersect after a sudden family tragedy. The series interrogates privilege and explores what happens when the line between victimhood and culpability becomes blurred. Brian Tee plays Margaret’s husband Clarke and Jack Huston plays Hilary’s husband David.
Expats stars Academy Award- and Emmy-winning actor Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies, The Undoing), Sarayu Blue (Never Have I Ever, Blockers), Ji-young Yoo (The Sky Is Everywhere, Smoking Tigers), Brian Tee (Chicago Med, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows), and Jack Huston (House of Gucci, Fargo). Kidman and Lulu Wang also serve as executive producers on the series.
