The Iron Claw looks to be an intense and fascinating look at a story that absolutely deserves to be filmed. All of the lead actors are perfectly cast as various members of the Von Erich wrestling dynasty and we’re really looking forward to seeing it. We would like to suggest that a little bit of coordinating would definitely have helped for their premiere red carpet appearance.

It’s not all bad. In fact, we think most of them made some interesting style choices. This look is certainly not the kind you see often on a red carpet. Not since about 1979, anyway. We don’t hate it, but we don’t think he’s well suited to it. The pants need a hemming.

This is fine, but we’d call it aggressively bland. He’s the biggest name in this cast and we’d have suggested he take this moment to step up and step out looking impeccably stylish. Show some swag. This is giving megachurch pastor.

Terrible. First off, the publicity team should have made sure he wasn’t placed under his own picture on the red carpet, because it instantly looks goofy. Second, this entire outfit is awful. You’re hot in every sense of the word right now, mister. Make the most of it. This isn’t it.

On the one hand, we think this looks bad on him. On the other hand, we appreciate the risk and the sense of style that fueled it.
