Princess Cathy got to work her Sporty/Casual side today as she visited the “Dadvengers,” a community of dads offering support and guidance for fathers working to “create positive fatherhood experiences for families” and “promot[e] positive mental health for men.” In other words, all of this is right up her royal alley, so to speak. She joined a group of the dads on a Dad Walk with their kids in Arnos Grove, north London.
What is there to say? It’s cute, it’s extremely on point and appropriate to the setting and group, and like a lot of her public style, it’s devised and curated in such a way that it’s nearly impossible for anyone to take issue with it. Whatever else you can say about her royal style, it’s thought-out. It may be dull at times and perhaps a little bit too retro at others, but after a decade-plus in this game, she almost never fails to come correct. She’s got the look locked down and like Elizabeth, she’s not likely to change it much over time. The boots are really cute. The reason we assume she loves to do the casual and sporty stuff is because when she does it, she always manages to wear something that has more personality than any of her dressier looks.
