You guys, we really tried. We put on our bitchpants and everything. We keep saying that the SAG-AFTRA strike and its effect on red carpets (decimating them, essentially) is not the same thing as the Covid lockdown and its effect on red carpets (turning them into backyard Instagram posts). Even so, we are feeling a similar response right now to those early post-lockdown days, when the red carpets returned and we couldn’t do anything but express our gratitude. In other words…

We thank Jessica Chastain for these blessings and we can’t even find anything mean to say. Except that we don’t like the sequinning of the shoulders, which evoke a particularly glamorous form of dandruff, but that’s not so mean, really.
