The 2023 Emmy nominations are out, which means it’s time to engage in that favorite pasttime of all people everywhere, making predictions and yelling about snubs. Shall we get to it?

Always a tough one. Every one of these shows has major momentum behind them. The critics adored Succession but it was never as popular as the amount of attention might have warranted. Having said that, we think it may come down to Succession or Better Caul Saul. It’s nice to see Andor there, but we doubt it’ll win and we’re not convinced that genre shows like House of the Dragon or The Last of Us are going to snag it.
