Darlings, we do so love being proven right – especially when it involves one of the few areas in which we can legitimately claim some expertise: the fashion whims of celebrities. We’d been noting a sudden influx of houndstooth in our sightlines, including a suit worn by Alison’s husband and co-star Dave Franco, and wondered if the classic tweed was trending back up again. Turns out? It is!
It also turns out that Miss Alison still has some extremely questionable style instincts, because that lace bodysuit looks kind of hideous. She should also keep the jacket buttoned while she’s standing or walking, because that waist is sitting very high and it doesn’t look all that great. And since we’re being such nitpicky bitches, we don’t think the clodhopper boots were the right choice here. They look pretty fun, but not with this outfit.
