The cast of Somebody That I Used to Know came out for the film’s premiere serving some looks and we’re happy to report that they clearly coordinated ahead of time.
Sort of. They do kind of look like they’re all heading to different events, though.
It’s got a crisp retro-’80s style that really suits hi. We’d love to see houndstooth make a return to the red carpet – especially in menswear. Love the brooch.
Alison Brie in Balmain
And speaking of retro-’80s styles, Miss Allison is soaking in them. Granted, she’s already shown a facility for wearing the looks of decades past in her work. This isn’t too literal, so it doesn’t come off like a costume. We think any time you wear a style like this, the first impulse is going to be to do anything to avoid accidentally lapsing into an ’80s big hair style, but surely there’s some middle ground between high hair and this limp do.
Kiersey Clemons in Cong Tri
Miss Lady is serving IMPRACTICAL DRAMA and we’re kind of here for it. It’s notthat the design appeals to us (because it doesn’t) so much as the overall effect. Still, high impact or not, those big pants are kind of awful.
Jay Ellis in Giorgio Armani
Mister Man is serving us COMPLETELY MISMATCHED ITEMS and we are not here for it at all. This looks silly, he managed to find a whole set of grays that actually clash with each other, and everything’s way too shiny.
