Okay, we gave out spotlight posts to some of the more notable or interesting attendees, but it’s time to round up all of the stars in their best attention-seeking looks at the LACMA Art + Film Gala and give them a good, firm set of opinions on their style choices. We’ve got a lot of ground to cover, so put on your judging pants, roll up your sleeves, and join us on our journey.

Meh. Rihanna and A$AP already did the blanket thing. We’re not mad at any of this, but the whole sleepwear thing feels very gimmicky and more than a little 2020 in tone.

Looks like a dance costume.

Can’t argue with that.

The suit’s really nice, but the gloves, doll boots and lack of a shirt really bring the look down.

Absolutely stunning skirt. The fringe on the gloves is a bit much for us but the real dealbreaker is that squared-off neckline.

Kendall Jenner in Burc Akyol

All we can think is that it looks like we’re supposed to press pause on her belly button.

Quinta Brunson in Rani Zakhem

Very Cinderella-cute in a retro sort of way.

Park Si-yeon

Chic and nearly flawless. It looks a little tight in the bust.

It’s okay. The design suits her, but it’s not particularly interesting. We don’t like the color story at all.

Simu Liu

Mostly can’t argue with that. We think you can either open your shirt halfway or go sockless, but both at the same time makes it look like you got dressed in a car.

Whoever convinced him that Casual Friday khakis go with a black velvet dinner jacket does not have his best interests at heart.

It’s bold and dramatic and colorful and eye-catching, but it’s also a bit of an eyesore.

More to come in part 2!
