We’re currently on a mad dash to the airport, so we’re turning this one over to y’all for final judgment. Cynthia Erivo is playing the Blue Fairy in the new “live action” adaptation of Disney’s Pinnocchio, which features a fully digital version of the lead character. We’re always happy to give her some red carpet spotlight time because the lady never fails to bring it. Unfortunately, this time, she brought a kind of ugly dress.
Are we wrong? Or is there something fabulously Lizard Queen about the whole thing. We suppose showing up all in blue would’ve been too gimmicky or costume-y. Enlighten us, darlings. Does this really work for you and if so, why? If not, come sit with us.
