Venice Film Festival 2022: Julianne Moore in Miu Miu at THE ETERNAL DAUGHTER Premiere

Since her look from last week may be one of the worst red carpet dresses of the year, we continue to feel the need to do Julianne Moore a solid every time she steps out in something not as disastrous. We’re kind-hearted souls. Also, this look is genuinely pretty cute:

It comes off a little shapeless on her, but we’re more taken with the sparkle and embellishments, which aren’t always her sort of thing. We could take or leave the bust bow, but the  buttons are gorgeous and they really make the dress. This has been a period where every lady seems to be choosing necklaces or chokers that are too heavy to be paired with the garment they’re wearing and this is more of the same, but we honestly think it helps the look to have that much bling hanging around the neck.

We apologize for using “bling” like a couple of white bloggers from 2007. We’ll try and do better.
