We’ve seen screeners for the first couple of episodes of Disney +’s upcoming Marvel series featuring the MCU’s first Muslim superhero, Ms. Marvel and while we’re probably still under a review embargo, we’re happy to report that it’s a great step forward in terms of diverse representation and also an extremely charming adventure series for young girls. Iman Vellani is poised on the brink of stardom with this one. She’s dressing the part too.

The sheer skirt is a bit of an eyebrow-raiser for a Disney-branded promotional event but the Chucks peeking out from the skirt are just too darn cute. We wish the bodice and the skirt coordinate/married a bit better. They feel too different from each other to be part of the same design. He’s doing okay but his pants need hemming and he should be wearing boots or a dress shoe with a larger silhouette than that.
