LOVE this look. Despite years of complaining about sheer skirts and awkwardly plunging necklines, we’re not remotely prudish about body displays on the red carpet. We just want them to be interesting and fabulous about it.
She’s wearing gold ears on her ears, gold nipples on her nipples, and gold feet on her feet. If nothing else, it’s a thematically consistent look. But it’s also, to our eyes, a weirdly fabulous one as well. We love the way the tulle wraps around her bust and becomes a train. We think the design is sexy and beautiful, combining the archaic with the modern. Our only complaint is that the skirt and the top aren’t matching. Still, this look feels like a big step forward in her style evolution. We don’t think she’s ever worn something this sophisticated.
