Julia Fox didn’t get invited to the Met Gala, but she did get invited to the ACE Awards, where she promptly got her Betsy on, from head to toe. She’s nothing if not a theme-y fashion girly.
It’s a really cute look and it couldn’t be better suited to her, but we’re gonna give her some advice for free. Her kind of downtown art girl vibe works really well with lesser-known designers or vintage-wear, but Betsey Johnson has a very specific brand aesthetic and if you’re going to step out as a Betsey girl, your styling needs to be up to the level. This is a little harsh, but the makeup is looking too DIY and we tend to think this sort of aesthetic calls for a mani/pedi. Everything needs to be just so with a look like this. You really can’t half-ass the details without looking, well, half-assed.
