The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Rachel Brosnahan is in the midst of quite the virtual promo tour, unleashing one eye-popping look after another. We may  not like all of the details – or maybe even any of them – but we do appreciate how hard she goes on this stuff. Nothing basic to be found here.

While this definitely gets points for being interesting and well-styled (love the sandals), we can’t help thinking it looks like something you’d pull out of the dryer that should never have gone into the dryer, if you know what we mean. It really doesn’t need that lint-trap embellishment on the bodice and would be much improved without it.

It’s not cookie-cutter in style and she does look great in the colors, but it sort of looks like something mumsy from the sales rack that she sexed up a little with the styling. We think the top has possibilities, but we’re not loving the skirt – or the shoes with it, for that matter.
