Isla Fisher Promotes ”Wolf Like Me” in Versace Jeans Couture

Well, she’s apparently moved past the LBD/bridal portion of her tour. Isla Fisher’s out here on these Zooms promoting her upcoming limited series Wolf Like Me and while we remain confused as to what this show actually is, she sure seems to be pitching it as a romantic comedy, given all the cute little cocktail dresses she’s been sporting. To wit:

Somewhat in line with her previous frocks, this one is cute, but basic – one might say “classic” – in design. We admit, our first response to the look book shots was how much more interesting it is with the mesh top and boots. No, really. We get why she wouldn’t go that route, but it’s a testament to just how much styling can change the feel of a garment; especially if its basic – or classic – in style and design. Which is why we’re gonna be bitches and say that the shoe choice here is a miss.  We think something a little less basic/classic was called for here Those slingbacks come off almost businesslike with a gold metallic mini.
