Chrissy Teigen and John Legend at Barack Obama’s 60th Birthday Party on Martha’s Vineyard

Currently cancelled star Chrissy Teigen went to the hottest (and of course, most controversial because we live in shit times) party of the summer, Barack Obama’s 60th birthday party* on Martha’s Vineyard. Oh, and her husband John Legend went with her too, but no one seems mad at him at the moment so it’s best to lead with the one everyone wants to talk about.

Raging (and not entirely true) cynicism aside, they look pretty much as you would want to look if you’re attending a former president’s birthday party on Martha’s Vineyard in late summer. Granted, her dress is perhaps a little too grandiose and focus-pulling for the setting; more appropriate for a red carpet than a birthday party. On the other hand, this is as toned-down as we’ve ever seen her while still sporting a recognizably Chrissy style. She’s always had a little bit of the drag queen in her style.

We love his suit and his kicks, but we don’t think you can sport a shirt that undone with a double-breasted jacket.
