One of the style trends that we think will continue out of the past year of the pandemic is the marrying of activewear elements to sportswear and even formalwear. This sort of tracksuit/pantsuit hybrid is likely to gain in popularity, in our unhumble opinion. We’re better at analyzing than prognosticating, so take it with a grain of salt. Still, we love this entire look; not just because it’s a swerve from a supporting actress nominee, but because it feels so fresh and it’s riding a wave of increased interest in designers with African backgrounds who utilize design and folk elements from their countries and cultures.  She looks fantastic.
