The Devil Wears Prada 2 star Anne Hathaway ditched the clown fashion she’s been sporting all month and got down to business for her Good Morning America appearance. But Annie being Annie and this promo tour being what it is, her businesslike skirt suit still has one big fashiony element to it.

While it doesn’t actually ruin the whole look, we’re so mad at that dumb flounce that it’s all we can see. And sure, we can see the argument that this suit might have come off a little dowdy and serious without some sort of flair added to it, but it looks like she’s in the middle of the process of putting on a coat. We should also add that we think the skirt is too full, too long, and kind of heavy-looking, which tends to add to that dowdy feel. The belt doesn’t really go with the suit, but it’s fun and bold. The stilettos are gorgeous and they elevate the whole look, as do the shades. Her hair is looking gorgeous here.
