If you said “Because it looks like it was made out of wheat and the hem is a party decoration for a depressing luau” then you should definitely be awarded your PhD in T Lo Studies. In truth, we don’t actually mind the wheaty color of it, but we don’t think it’s a good shade for her at all. In fact, part of the reason we find this so jarring is because she spent years working slinky Gucci gowns in eye-popping colors. This turn away from the va-va-voom that served her so well is a little disappointing. The textile looks too much like fancy hotel wallpaper and that fringe is just horrifying to us. But like we said, our opinion isn’t the one that matters here. Let’s hear it:
