TWO SUPER-LADIES STAND BEFORE YOU.
It’s a superhero showdown! It’s Marvel vs. DC! It’s Nakia of Wakanda vs. Diana of Themyscira and these two warrior princesses have pulled out ALL the stops. In fact, we’d go so far as to suggest that these two looks are both Personal Bests for their wearers.
Honestly, this is the outfit we see whenever her name pops up. It’s so strong, so bold, so right for the occasion and so gorgeously off-beat that it remains the most memorable in a very long line of memorable looks from her. It’s regal, it’s got an afro-punk vibe to it, it’s chic as hell, and it’s like nothing else. The hair is just amazing – and purple might just be her best color.
For her debut in the role of Wonder Woman, Gal chose one of the more traditional looks in her red carpet career. But that was the right choice. She was coming out as the first person to wear the iconic tiara since Lynda Carter and she opted for Hollywood glamour with a bit of a regal undertone to it. And the styling is utterly flawless. She never looked so good – and she’s made a career out of looking good.
So which one’s it gonna be, superhero fans? The bold afro-punk weirdness or the traditional, princessy glam? What are you feeling today?
