Lupita Nyong’o Came to the “Black Panther” LA Premiere in Atelier Versace to SLAY

Posted on January 30, 2018

Here are where the words go.

The words are offered to you in order to give you some time to ease into what you are about to see, for it will overwhelm your senses and dazzle your pleasure centers. The words are mostly pointless, because truly, this is all about the visuals, something Queen Lupita (for surely this is a coronation, no?) has always innately understood.

Anyway, you’re not reading these words, which makes the continued writing of them kind of pointless, so here is where we will shut our whore mouths and let the Empress of all that is Fierce and Fabulous take to the dais to receive your worship.

Or, to put it more succinctly…

Look, you can get nice, articulate sentences full of words that no one is going to read or you can get our honest, unfiltered reaction. Which is, once again, in case you missed it…

We could break this look down and talk about the various elements, but sometimes, when you analyze a dream, you wind up losing the dreamlike quality that made it so appealing. This is flawless. This is unlike anything we’ve seen on a red carpet. This is clearing up our blemishes, taking away our aches, balancing our checkbooks and boosting our immune systems just by existing. This is, in other words,  GIVING. US. LIFE.

And it’s clearly one of the Top Five looks of 2018 and we’re not even through the first month of it.
