The days have gotten shorter and around our parts, momentarily a little colder, which really means only one thing to the kitten who are bitter: CELEBRITY COAT PORN. Miss Katie is kicking off the season and laying down the gauntlet. To all her celeb siblings, she’s saying loud and clear, “Top THIS, bitches.”

We love these bigass, to-the-floor, ’80s-style oversized coats. Not only are they dramatic, not only do they protect you from the fiercest winds and coldest weather conditions, but (most important of all) they are an entire outfit unto themselves. You throw a good long coat over a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and, so long as you’ve got a decent pair of shoes on, you’re looking strut-worthy. A good pair of shades always helps too.

Personally, we don’t think the bag style goes that well with it, but that’s nitpicky in the extreme. It’s a killer coat and that’s enough.
