Please allow us to state once again for the record that we are all for any lady who wants to get her sexy on or likes to show off her body in clothes. This is not prudishness on our parts. If Miss Alison thinks this is the best way to promote or present herself, we’re not here to say that she can’t. But we’ve been documenting her relentless, Lea Michelle-like need to dress in the teeniest, tackiest little frocks for a good while now and she absolutely never gets this sort of look right for her. This tells us that she’s so focused on the goal of looking hot that she isn’t paying much attention at all as to whether she looks good, let alone stylish. There are plenty of cute, sparkly, cut-down-to-here or slit-up-to-there frocks out there in the world she can wear and make work for her. This is just plain awful – and borderline unflattering with its wholly puzzling combination of massive plunging neckline and high-waisted panty. We get that the VMAs are not a place for taste and elegance, but this is just hideous. Miss Alison, you need a serious style rethink.
