Who’s up for a little mid-Century costume porn this fine summer day? We skipped out on the second season of Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and to be honest, we have very little desire to return to it (Amy Sherman-Palladino’s style is totally not our bag, it turns out). But if we have one regret about no longer being regular viewers, it’s that we’re not subjecting ourselves to the stunning costume design.
Like several other modern actresses who happen to look born to wear mid-Century high fashion (looking at you, January and Christina), Rachel sometimes has a problem defining herself on the red carpet with her style choices. Looking at the above, we have to say, we don’t blame her. If you look THAT good in a costume, how do you make “normal” clothes as appealing?
