Generally speaking, these TV talent show live events pretty much require that any ladies standing in front of a wall of corporate logos for publicity pictures (also known as the red carpet) show up wearing something LOUD, preferably SPARKLY. Short wouldn’t hurt either. Even with those expectations, these gals really brought it tonight. Did they bring loudness, sparkle and shortness? In spades, kittens. Did they bring style, chicness and elegance. Well…

So this is essentially a dance costume. BIG kudos for picking T Lo perennial fave The Blonds. We can understand why you might dress like a chorus girl for a talent show event, but we kinda wish she’d swerved a little on the hair, makeup and shoe styles. This is too literal in its dance references, we think. A blowout and a pair of thigh-high boots would’ve given this an entirely different feel.

Ironically, she did a lot better than the actual dancer:

Las Vegas hotel drapes. It’s not a very pretty textile and then they had to go and utilize it in the most annoying and obnoxious ways. Way too much flounce/ruffle/train action for such a tiny dress. And that zipper is just awful.
