We’ve always said that Casual Cathy or Sporty Cathy were our favorite Cathies, but we never though we’d see a version of either where she actually stepped out in something surprising. We gave away the big twist with the headline, so here they are, folks. The Big Royal Pants:
Honestly, that’s kind of adorable. Perfect for a day (or several staged minutes of ) climbing tree ladders, as a duchess may find herself doing now and then. It’s all low-key and practical, but still high end and fashionable. But the best part really is how unexpected it is. She lives or dies in her skinny jeans when she gets the chance to ditch the coatdresses, so this feels like her deliberately freshening up one of her silhouettes. If only the color story wasn’t so drab.
