We’re ready, with this one dress, to declare that the off-the-shoulder trend is quickly reaching the ridiculous stage. It’s always funny how designers seem to collectively decide that some basic element – like sleeves – suddenly needs to be rethought into bold new shapes and impractical designs.

Without any color or print to speak of, it becomes all about the shape in a picture-taking situation. And while it’s true we always say that one should pick an interesting LBD if one is insistent upon wearing an LBD on the RC, the shape is too distracting to us. It looks kind of cute from the side, but straight on it’s just weird. The bag’s nice but the footwear is pretty generic. We don’t know… the whole thing feels weirdly unbalanced.
