Emily Blunt in Stella McCartney at the DISCLOSURE DAY London Premiere

We have some kind of good news for you. Despite the words “Emily,” Blunt,” “Stella,” and “McCartney” appearing in the post title, we’re about to show you a look that’s…not a total disaster. Yes, that’s damning with faint praise, but Miss Emily has a hit-or-miss red carpet style and Stella McCartney has a mostly-misses one, but the star and the designer came together for the London premiere of Disclosure Day and the results are not bad at all:

This is definitely an “all things considered” sort of look. All things considered (like the aforementioned names and their respective style histories), this looks pretty great. We’re very tired of corset bodices and stiff peplums at the moment, and that line or seam that runs along her hip looks awful, but we can consider this overall look a win. The wet hair look is awful, though. She can’t get every detail right, it would seem.
