The Smashing Machine star Emily Blunt came to Jimmy Kimmel Live’s Brooklyn set to chat about this and that while confirming something we recently said about her style. We thank her for the vindication.
She really should just stick to basic, classic, flattering and uncomplicated styles because that’s what’s suiting her best at the moment. We say “at the moment” because she used to have a much more high-fashion approach, with risk-taking that tended to pay off for her more often than not. But people’s lives and careers change and sometimes that gets reflected in how they present themselves. She’s two decades off from her The Devil Wears Prada days and maybe being a fashionista or trying to figure out what trends work for her isn’t worth the effort. That could change at any time, but from our observation, she just looks better — not to mention happier — in styles that don’t ask too much.
