The cast of The Buccaneers, that show we swore we were going to watch and turned off after about ten minutes, is back for its second season and the cast made some hilariously “I’m damn sure not my character” style choices for the occasion.
Imogen Waterhouse in Loewe
We feel like we can’t get mad at a gal for working the kind of look Madonna was slinging in her “Express Yourself” years, but damn, does this all look cheap to us.
Kristine Froseth in Yohji Yamamoto
We have no doubt that these are gorgeous pieces on the right person and in the right setting, but they’re not right for the red carpet
Leighton Meester in Giambattista Valli
WOW, do we ever HATE your skirt, Leighton Meester! Like, we thought there weren’t any skirts left that could inspire this level of white-hot LOATHING in us! Thank you for making us feel alive again! Also, your shoes are hideous too! A veritable BOUNTY!
Christina Hendricks
Why Miss Christine. This is pretty nice. Feels more like a December dress, but there’s been a lot of that going around lately.
Josie Totah
Just a kindly bit of advice that we wind up giving several times a year to any starlets who may be inclined to do such things on the red carpet: don’t play with your skirt, dear, Just find your angle and give them your best face. This sort of posing makes you look unsure and that’s not what you want for yourself. Cute dress, from what we can tell. The shoes are bad, though.
Aubri Ibrag
It’s not terrible, but it seems a little serious for a red carpet.
Alisha Boe
We burst out laughing at the tackiness of the dress, but she looks gorgeous despite it.
