It’s time, darlings! The 2025 Met Gala is in the books, we’ve spent most of this week covering and opinionating on all of the stars’ style efforts, and now it’s time to start pitting them against each in a style cage match where there can be only one winner. Each of us picked our faves and now you have to vote on the nominations.
Lo’s Pick: Lewis Hamilton in Wales Bonner
Lo’s defense: Just the most perfect representation of male beauty through style, which is what dandyism is all about. Everything about this look is perfection and I love how impeccable and streamlined it is without sacrificing a bit of style. A 21st Century Dandy.
Tom’s Pick: Brian Tyree Henry in Orange Culture
Tom’s defense: Because it’s luxurious and colorful in a way that Dandyism should be. Because he’s one of the few men who paid tribute to Andre Leon Talley. Because there are choices here that are chic and impeccable sitting alongside choices that are surprising and unusual. He looks amazing and he doesn’t look like anyone else there.
There you have it! Two stunning dandies! Two difficult choices! Scroll down to the widget thingie and make your voice heard!
