And now for a minor scrolldown surprise — in the sense that the above picture is not giving you the full picture, if you understand our meaning. Good American Family star Ellen Pompeo came to Jimmy — oh, we see you’ve already scrolled down. We’ll meet you on the bottom.
That’s a really cute pair of jeans. We absolutely do not have an issue with seeing them on a late night talk show. We just don’t think the rest of the outfit coordinates all that well with them. They tend to draw the eye straight down because of the volume and the light color, which really pops under the studio lights. The rest of the outfit – jacket on or off – recedes so much that she becomes a head and a pair of pants. Keep the jeans. They look comfy and she’s clearly feeling confident in them. Just switch every single other item out for something more interesting to look at. The jeans shouldn’t be the focal point here. Just a couple of beads, sequins or other embellishments on that top, some boots, and the jacket switched out for a colorful velvet one and you’ve got an entirely different – and much more telegenic – look.
