Zoe Saldana is following up her Emilia Perez Oscar win with a Pixar movie and that strikes us as a good thing for her to be doing right now. She’s got the cred locked down, she’s starred in some of the biggest motion pictures of all time, so she doesn’t have a thing to prove at the moment. Might as well have some fun and collect a (relatively) easy paycheck. She was in New York making the rounds to promote Elio in her usual blend of offbeat and chic.

Those Olsen twins are very good at designing outfits for chic people with clinical depression, that’s for sure. The construction and drape of the top is interesting, but we hate that used coffee filter color and we don’t think the pants or shoes do anything for it.

This is kind of fun, but also a little weird, which pretty much sums up her approach. The colors look amazing on her and we love the draped cardigan. The shoes are awkward, however, and we don’t think the top looks all that great with the skirt. At the very least, a decently thick belt would have married the two pieces a little better. Quibbles aside, she’s clearly loving the look.
