The cast of A Real Pain put on their best borrowed outfits and hit the red carpet at the New York premiere. Just to do something a little different, how about we judge their outfits?
Just this once. We’ll all get it out of our systems and go back to being kind-hearted, non-judgmental sorts interested in much weightier matters, yes? Put your judgin’ pants on.
We appreciate that he’s been making interesting choices on this tour. The suit is nice, although we think you need a flawless hem job to pair one with horsebit loafers. The color blocking/matching in the jacket, shirt and tie produces an eye-catching effect, but only because it looks so odd. We can’t say it’s working all that well.
This is boring, but at least it’s not sloppy. The hair is looking very wiggy.
It’s fine. She looks great in it, although the shoes look pretty stale to us and we figure she could’ve used a statement piece of jewelry.
This looks like depression in clothing form. We can tell it’s a suit of fine quality and we don’t even mind the brown, but it needs styling to elevate it a little. It also needs to be fitted better. We’re seeing the counter to the skinny suit trend, when too many guys thought it meant going down at least one size; now we’re seeing guys interpret the roomy suit trend by wearing pieces that are clearly too big for them.
