Miss Flo served up yet another high-fashion moment at the Valentino Couture show, and you might be forgiven for thinking that this is the kind of look she can work in her sleep at this point:
It’s simple, it’s elegant, it comes off almost effortless for her. She’s been delivering the goods in exactly this manner for a while now, but we remember a time when we were gleeful about covering her because her style choices were hilariously tacky. Your girl’s come a long way since those days. We think her relationship with Valentino did a lot for her style, but there was a noticeable shift around the time of Don’t Worry Darling, as if the drama surrounding that production and her subsequent refusal to do most of the promotional work expected for it lit some sort of fire under her about knowing her own worth or acting more like a star. We can’t know for sure, of course. It could just be that she grew up and her tastes became more sophisticated. She still has the same stylist, but the results have improved tremendously in just a few years.
