While it might seem odd to put the style choices of the Empress up to a vote, we have to warn you that this look contains such dicey elements as a flower crown, raw edges, and a mullet skirt. In other words, our love of Lupita is being tested and we need you to sort things out for us. Ready? Go:
It’s… different, right? There’s something sweet and almost whimsical about the design. None of this would be our first recommendation for her, but we appreciate how unexpected a choice it is. Having said that, we’re not in love with the crown, the straps, the fringed edges, the color or the skirt. We don’t necessarily hate any one of those elements and we’re prepared to admit that the combination of them all works better than we would have expected, but there are still a lot of choices here that don’t exactly thrill us. Since that barely qualifies as a critique, we’re turning the critique-making reins over to you.
