Because that Barbie promo train never stops rolling along (except for when there’s a historic, industry-threatening strike going on) and because the Oscar nominating process hasn’t begun yet, Barbie stars Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling and America Ferrera are still out here on these streets, Barbie-ing as hard as they can.

We tend to think Margot’s doing more of a Barbie pastiche than she is recreating a specific model of Barbie, although we could be wrong and this is something like LEMON SQUEEZE BARBIE 1968, although we haven’t heard anything to that effect. It’s cute, but she doesn’t look all that comfortable sitting in it. Ryan’s whole look is very cute and stylishly casual. We might have liked an undershirt that didn’t look so much like an undershirt. America continues to serve up this oddly corporate style. This is okay, but we’ve seen her in a lot better.

LOVE Ryan’s coat. Practically drooling over it. Of her recent office manager looks, this is probably the best one America’s worn, but it’s really stale and even a little aging on her. Margot’s dress looks juvenile and home sewn. She would appear to be at the bottom of the Barbie pile in terms of available outfits.
