That’s right, darlings! Even though one of us said at one point during today’s podcast “I don’t think it was a total disaster…” it turns out, in the end, we had to admit that yes, Season 6 (Part 1) of The Crown is simply bloody awful. We try to unpack what worked (very little) and what didn’t (most of it), how it compares to history (poorly) and why any focus on Diana was likely to cause the show’s quality and tone to plummet.
