And we’re back! With much to discuss! We flipped on our mics this week and spewed all of our thoughts and opinions on the Met Gala 2024 Theme “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” from why it’s an important and thoughtful idea, to why we think it was most likely in response to recent criticisms, to all of the ways in which the stars are going to interpret it badly, to why it doesn’t matter if they interpret it at all. All of that, plus another reason for you to get mad at Kim Kardashian.
From there, we launch into a whole celebration of the end of the SAG AFTRA strike and outline what we think it means for the immediate future of Hollywood as well as what we think should be done in order to make up for lost ground. Unsurprisingly, our solutions tend to be gown-based.
