Throughout the collection symbols of Basquiat’s work shine through. The crown, a symbol of power, appears repeatedly on two button down blouses while a single large crown is placed in the center of a collared sweater. Basquiat’s work of HE WAS CRAZY, a print mix of words, images, and color, appears throughout a 4-piece series including a shirt dress, crew neck top, boyfriend blazer, and long ball gown. Basquiat’s vibrant art is seen in our oversized moto jacket with themes of coins and money. His work of Unbreakable appears on a dress and long skirt with the word UNBREAKABLE brightly written across the front. Basquiat’s work Untitled is a 3-piece series of a cropped hoodie, mini dress, and long maxi dress featuring the artwork.
