Good Lady Cate put on her big girl pants and headed to the Earthshot Prize ceremony in Singapore, to pal around with Prince William. And when we say “big girl pants,” we’re not just being cute about it:

Although perhaps we should phrase it big girlpants. Either way, while the overall look is rather pleasantly clean and low-key glam, it’s a little on the bottom-heavy side. We actually really like it. Had the pants been a slimmer or otherwise more conventional cut, this would have been a perfectly fine, if slightly dull suit, even with the gold brocade. But we enjoy the pleasant surprise of that massive flare. We go back and forth on whether this look needed some color or more jewelry or something, but there’s something about how stripped-bare it is that makes it work for her.
