Kim Kardashian has been having a busy week on the fashion-serving front, navigating the red carpets for the LACMA Film + Art Gala and the CFDA Awards while evidently paying homage to two great women: Marilyn Monroe and a Bratz doll. Look, she’s trying, and that’s what’s important here. Haha, just kidding. Let’s all be bitches together.

The thing is…she really is trying, it would seem. Her style has gotten more and more conventional if not downright conservative over the last few years, as she shed the final vestiges of her marriage. Yes, this is perhaps a slightly too literal homage which veers pretty close to cosplay, but can anyone truly say she looks bad here? This might be in her top ten of all time, if you’re judging her style using conventions of chicness and elegance as your criteria.

This is more in line with the classic Kimmy style: so tight she can barely breathe, with the sexy factor ramped up to borderline fetish levels. The hair is too much and the heels are downright ridiculous, but we’re not mad at any of it.
