Oh, there were plenty of other celebrity attendees at the Chanel Show in Paris this week, but we were only interested in these three for there… let’s call them “notable” style choices.

We remain somewhat puzzled as to why Penelope Cruz is a Chanel ambassador. Certainly she’s a big enough star for the brand to want a little of her light to shine on them, but she seems wholly unsuited for the house aesthetic and she tends to choose somewhat awkward designs for herself from their offerings. That skirt is just plain ugly.

Given how hot it’s been in Paris this week, we admire her commitment to wearing a fall ensemble, but as coat dresses go, this one’s kind of dreary. The shape is awful and the boots don’t go well with it. We also tend to think wearing her hair this way didn’t help the look.

We like how much he’s willing to switch up his style and play around with gender a little bit lately, but there’s just too much Nana in the jacket and necklaces. We wonder if you can really interpret Coco’s classic look for menswear. This hasn’t convinced us.
