A quartet of celebrity Lancôme ladies put on their best borrowed gowns and posed outside the Louvre to mark the release of the Lancôme x Louvre beauty collection. Since this was for a good cause, we’ll refrain from being bitchy about their choices. Psych.
Amanda Seyfried in Prada
Hunh. This doesn’t feel like her at all. It’s too fussy and retro to seem like the best choice for her. She does well with streamlined or classic styles. To be fair, the silhouette is clean and simple in a way that suits her,but the embellishments on the bust are hideous and we don’t understand that strap situation.
Kelly Rowland in Nicolas Jebran
Glamour in the old school style. She looks incredible. The gown is only okay, but she makes it sing.
Penélope Cruz in Giambattista Valli Couture
It’s black lace with a white lining and a big ol’ bust bow, which means we are duty bound to dislike it on sight. Having said that, she’s making it all look much better than it is.
Taraji P. Henson in LaQuan Smith
Lady, we love you but your dress looks cheap as shit.
