Let’s take a break from the Tonys coverage and check in on that other New York institution, the Sex and the City gals. Yes, we know they’re now the And Just Like That gals now, but it just doesn’t have the same punch. Besides, the reason Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Sarah Jessica Parker got themselves all dolled (and quite clearly coordinated with each other) is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original show’s debut.

It’s good they they coordinated their looks, because we think all of them benefit from having something else to look at. That sounds bitchier than we mean it. None of the looks are terrible, but Cynthia’s comes off a little blankety and SJP’s is entirely too twee, from the modesty panel to the sad little bows and all the way down to the matchy-match shoes. Kristin’s look is fine, but it probably would’ve looked pretty dull on its own. We’re not loving the beige and off-white accessories, though.
