Dominique Fishback wore an extremely on-point look for the Mexico City premiere of Transformers: Rise of the Beast premiere. We have some issues with it and we also kind of appreciate it, which makes it perfect for a vote. You can make the final call on this one:
To us, that’s a genuinely interesting take on a skirt and it feels particularly appropriate for any premiere with a sci-fi undertone to it. Her hair and makeup are fantastic and they’re doing a lot to elevate the look, because we think the rest of the design is not quite up to the level of its most interesting element. The color is okay, but the rest of the dress feels unresolved somehow. We think a longer skirt, possibly a train, and a more structured bodice might have pulled this design together a little better.
