We are sorry to report that the House of Chanel has done something terrible to Marion Cotillard.

And here it is. Here is the terrible thing they did to her. This is a dark day for the house. Maybe it’s not as bad as the founder being Nazi-adjacent, but it’s still a terrible stain on the name. She should sue. Fortunately, this partnership didn’t produce entirely bad results at Cannes:

It’s not the greatest ensemble we’ve ever seen, but it’s inoffensive and looks kind of great on her. Those shoes are fun. They do a lot to make the outfit feel like an outfit. It also helps that her hair looks amazing and her makeup looks great.
