Okay, we lied. While she has worn some fairly unattractive frocks throughout her time serving on the Cannes jury this year, we don’t really think this is an ugly gown. It’s probably a mistake to put this one up to a vote, because so many of us are probably just relieved that she wore something non-disastrous. Even so, we figured we’d give you guys the final say on this. If we’re being our critique-y selves, we’ll have to mention that this is a pretty enough dress, but it’s fairly underwhelming, both for Chanel and for Cannes. As for the styling, we’re not sure that pendant really goes with the neckline, but it’s all somewhat competently put together. Yes, that’s rather underwhelming as praise goes. Like we said: we’re underwhelmed. But we’re professional meanies. You guys get to do it for fun. Let’s hear it:
