We stan a queen who moves on from awards season quickly. The Fabelmans star Michelle Williams packed away her nominee gowns and got right back to work doing press for her new movie Showing Up. While we can’t claim this is some sort of bold style reinvention for her after a slightly dicey awards campaign, the look she wore to visit The Tonight Show felt like a quietly confident return to the style that works best for her.
Cute, no? Also relatively uncomplicated with an unfussy payoff. By that we mean she’s comfortable and covered where she wants to be but that she’s serving nothing but face, neckline and legs when she sits down. Each of those three are perfectly framed or highlighted. Our only suggestion would have been for a pair of earrings to finish the look.
