Pluribus star Rhea Seehorn wore a genuinely interesting dress to the PaleyFest Pluribus presentation and we thank her for her service during this fallow period on the world’s red carpets. We will repay her hard work by throwing her to the wolves kittens. Prepare yourself for the scrolldown. It’s not horrifying, but it is a little unexpected:
Part of the reason we’re putting this up to a vote — aside from the whole “getting people to talk about red carpet looks is our job” thing — is because it’s one of those designs that’s going to inspire instant opinions in people. You can’t look at this dress and have a neutral reaction. So, do you love it or hate it? We’re on the love side of the equation. The color story is bold and the inserts are extremely unexpected. We like how the top half is relatively plain so that the skirt doesn’t have to fight for attention. It’s not a dress that causes its wearer to recede and we love that about it. We’re not crazy about the hem length and we think the matchy shoes were a big mistake, but we like this. And you?
